Throwback (crimping hair)
Crimped hair just screams out 1980's but crimped hair or beach waves I think should have a larger place as a hairstyle choice for girls for school or parties or for adults for parties and for any festivities. The benefit of creating beach waves or going old school and using a crimper is that you can have some waves, curls without having something permanent like a perm may do.
Creating body and definition is one of the benefits of crimped hair or beach waves so if you have thin or fine hair it can be a good way to change things up and add some body and thickness to your fine hair. Sometimes hair that is fine and quite long can sit very flat down the back especially with all the straightening going on in these modern times also most of the hair products these days seem to add moisture to prevent any frizzy hair that was around in the 80's and 70's. NOOOOOOO! not the frizz.

Not easy finding good 80's hair or crimped hair on the internet so forgive me for the pictures attached not being the best example of this eras hairstyles. Its like women from the eighties are still having nightmares over 80's hair including any crimping undertaken during that glorious decade. Hope to see more ladies including crimped hair into their daily style routines just to mix it up a bit and get out of this era of damaging your hair with daily straightening with flat irons.
