Long hair vs Short hair.


Have named this blog long hair vs short hair but in my opinion both long and short haircuts can look stunning. I don't have a preference because I find women with short hair to be beautiful and same goes for long hair. I must admit though to finding bob cuts to be my favourite hairstyle and the picture above is a good example of a stacked bob with a shaved nape and the girl with the hippie hair above is also very beautiful with her long locks (love the bangs) One of the many benefits of having short hair is its a lot quicker to get ready for work in the morning. With long hair you can change your style quite a bit by wearing a high bun, wear your hair in a braid, using curling wand to put waves in(very pretty) long hair looks pretty when straightened out all healthy and shiny and cutting bangs into long hair can change your look completely as shown above. When it comes to short hair yes your choices of changing up your look may be a bit more limited but short hair has added benefits such as easier to maintain, not as hot in summer, short hair can bring added depth with colour and layers, lighter weight so you can run faster when zombies are chasing you, beautiful eyes are revealed once mane has been taken away from face cheekbones and eyes are more prominent and you can run for President with short hair(just ask Hillary)

Nervous about new haircut

I recently underwent a big makeover when I chopped all my hair off for a much shorter style and it feels so different from my old long hair which was almost down to my butt before the chop. I was so nervous driving home from the hairdressers and I wasn't sure how my boyfriend would react when I walked in the house. I told him I was getting a haircut but I told him that it would most probably be a bobcut. Instead I decided to get a pixie cut. My mum started crying when I revealed my new hairdo and she said that I hadn't had short hair since I was 3 years old. Short and curly cuts from 80's and 90's.

Really think this is a great cut for women of all ages not just for the grey army(60 years plus) The different textures that are created by the natural curls or curls created after a perm are complimented by the clippered nape part of the cut in contrast with the longer curls on top create an easy haircut that is very feminine and very very low maintenance. Doesn't the picture above just look great with the jewellery and the beautiful blonde permed curls. These haircuts that I speak of today are definitely on the short side so not for the faint of heart and they are the type of cut that will possibly make you look more mature than if you had a shoulder length bob cut or medium length down the back but it is the type of cut that takes time getting used to.
